The first step in the process was to explore different diamond wedding band designs for the perfect style that matched the engagement ring.
For an emerald cut eternity band, our recommendation is that it pairs best with an emerald or rectangular-shaped center stone.
This second choice below was interesting as a two-tone option mixing Yellow Gold and Platinum. However, the design of the ring including prongs and metal that hold the round brilliant diamonds competes with the engagement ring, we thought. This Delicate French V-Split setting is characterized by its uniquely split prongs that form a V-shape, creating a scalloped design when viewed from the side. This setting style allows each gemstone, often diamonds, to be securely held but has more metal coverage, slightly reducing the visibility and brilliance of the stones. The V-split prongs do give the ring a vintage-inspired look.
