Farmed around the islands of French Polynesia, these AAA quality perfectly round, very high luster pearls exhibit the coveted peacock color overtones. That is, the pearls glow or shimmer with a brilliant blue or green plumage similar to that found in the iredescent feathers of the Peacock bird. All the pearls exhibit a very thick nacre and are excellently matched for color. This necklace is 16 inches long and is strong on black silk thread and affixed with American Pearl's 18K white gold signature "Figure Eight" clasp.
